A couple weeks ago I started playing Rainbow6. My friend just told me that there are now two free expansion packs for R6 available on Xbox Live. The Red and Black expansion packs include new maps and game types, including Assassination and Total Conquest mode. Here’s how you can download the expansions for free:

• Go to Marketplace (the far left window), select Games, and then select All Games.
• Scroll down quite a bit to Rainbow Six Vegas — the RT button for page down comes in handy — and select it.
• Then scroll down again to “Player’s Pack: Black Edition” and “Player’s Pack: Red Edition”.
• They’re both completely free to download! Each pack is around 700 MB, so it they can take a little while to download.

The new maps include Marshalling Yard, Roof, Doscala Restaurant, Border Town - Redux, Killhouse - Redux, Neon Graveyard, Wartown, Presidio, Red Lotus, and Streets - Redux.
